As a Weihenstephan graduate brewmaster, I can now look back on more than 30 active professional years in the beverage industry in Germany and Sweden. Until the turn of the year 2002/2003, I was employed as a responsible brewmaster or plant manager in various breweries. Since then, I have been self-employed with my own company based in Halmstad, Sweden, which focuses on plant design for beverage producers. Customers are not only breweries, but also cideries and soft drink producers in Sweden and neighboring countries.
I already know Hormes from my work as plant manager at Banco Bryggeri in Skruv from 1998-2001, during which time two new filling lines were installed at Banco for returnable bottles and for cans, respectively, where Hormes supplied the majority of the machines. Both projects were very successful and laid the foundation for a good and close cooperation.
I have been working continuously with Hormes since I started my own business. Over the years, Hormes has supplied a large number of filling lines and process equipment for my company’s projects. Hormes has always proved to be a pleasant and reliable partner, characterized by high quality both in the equipment supplied and in the service provided. I appreciate the high technical competence of the employees and the ability to understand specific needs for individual customers.
In my company’s projects, different suppliers often interact with each other. Here a precise definition of the interfaces and a good communication is important, which always works very well with Hormes. The support via various existing remote maintenance for plant control systems is very good and is gladly used by the customers.
I can highly recommend Hormes as a supplier for single components or for complete plants.
